Vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod Collection. Beautiful ruby red color. Sold by Avon starting in 1975 and discontinued in 1993.
History:
The Avon 1876 Cape Cod Glass Collection drew its inspiration from the Roman Rosette classical pattern. The number “1876” comes from the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence being signed, and the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial.
The set contains:
1- Salt & Pepper Shaker set 4 1/2” H x 2” W
1- Sugar Bowl 3 3/8” H x 3 1/2” W
1- Creamer Pitcher 4” H x 5 1/4” W
1- Footed Sauce Boat 4” H x 8 1/4” L x 3 1/2” W
1- Condiment Dish 9 1/2” L x 5 1/2” W x 1 1/4” H
1- Dessert Server 9 3/4” L
Brand new, never used with original boxes. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Boxes do have some slight discoloration due to age and storage. Stored in tote for many years.
